Here are a few brain teasers to tackle. I am hopeless at them, (lucky i have the answers already) but some of you might enjoy them. Once they have all been answered, i will add some more. Enjoy. 1: Tilly Trott keeps several ponies - but no one knows exactly how many. When Nosey Norah asks how many ponies she has, Tilly Trott says: "They're all piebald except two, all roan except two and all grey except two." Nosey Norah is stumped: are you? ANSWER: 3 ponies (one piebald, one roan and one grey)2: Barry, Carrie, Gary, Harry and Larry are taking part in a Gymkhana. At the finish, Barry is as many places ahead of Carrie as Harry is of Larry. If Gary comes first and Larry is neither 3rd nor 5th, can you work out who was placed where at the end of the gymkhana? ANSWER: Gary, Harry, Barry, Larry and Carrie
3: Someone's taken my saddle. Only four people were near the saddle - Jenny, Penny, Fred and Ted - so one of them must be the theif. But which one is it? I asked each person in turn and this is what they replied: Fred said Penny told him Ted took it. Penny said that Jenny took it. Ted said he knew but wouldn't tell me. Jenny said that Penny took it. Jenny and Penny always lie - so who did steal my saddle? ANSWER: Fred

hmmm, I think I know why I chose Fred. He said Penny told him it was Ted. But Penny said it was Jenny. He would have said it was Ted because Ted knew he took it.
Or at least that's my logic. XD

Next lot ... Very easy ...

Carol has put her riding hat somewhere but can't remember where. She asks Sylvia Smart if she knows - and gets the following helpful advice:
If you can't find your hat it's because you havn't looked by the stable door.
You can't find your hat and not forget to look in the tack room.
If you don't fail to find your hat it's because you havn't looked in the trailer.
Poor Carol is completely confused. Can you make sense of Sylvia's clues?
5:
Imagine you have nine carrots for your favourite ponies and have four large paper bags. How can you put an odd number of carrots into each bag? You are not allowed to cut up any of the carrots or tear the bags.
