Understanding sa2/sa2Sabino 2 is a theoretical sabino pattern, based on one theory of Clydesdale sabino markings. Ingame, it is a double recessive, like chestnut and flaxen are - you need both copies in order for it to show. - How to know if your horse has sa2/sa2 -
- Your horse is Sabino patterned, but does not have Sa1. (the only confirmed way to know)
For example - This filly has 2 solid parents, and tests negative for Sa1. This means both parents have Sa2/sa2 and she has sa2/sa2.
- Pintaloosa without having Sa1, Spl, To or Ov. (theoretical)
The only way to know if your horse does not have Splashed is if neither parent could possibly have it. Perhaps a Tobiano x Leopard had a foal that is a Pintaloosa but tests negative for To.
- Overo or Tovero with only one of the other pinto patterns. (theoretical)
Like the pintaloosa example above. If you have a foal that is an Tovero, but a parent is solid and the other is Tobiano.
- How to know if your horse has Sa2/sa2 -
