Researching these ponies led me to the interesting fact that they are raised for meat production and riding. It's a kind of interesting thing though. They are from spain and every year they round them up from the wild and have a "fair" where they sell the horses. Any horses that don't sell are turned lose again until next year so they are basically a wild horse but they support a whole little economy. I think that's pretty neat. Since a Local stock Stud name Imastar helped found this breed I've decided to name all the ones I breed after stars. I should never run out of names.
